PIO Endurance Breeding is the fundamental key of our dreams. Our stallions and mares have been selected for their physical and mental soundness. Based on the incredible knowledge of the Olascoaga family—from raid to endurance—the horses are matched to produce elite athletes with the physical capabilities to run fast, recover quickly, and be high-performance partners.

The stallions each have a herd of mares living on hundreds of hectares of natural grassland in the Uruguay countryside. The foals grow up learning from their mothers for the first year; they enjoy together selecting the right mix of natural forage, playing with other foals, and learning to gallop with the herd. Every aspect of the breeding program is based on a holistic natural approach.
