OUR HISTORY

Endurance and Raid are the heart of Uruguay horse sports.  The Olascoaga family has a deep history running generations long on breeding, raising and training horses.  The family started competing and breeding for Raid races in the 1970’s then Endurance horse’s in the 1990’s.  The accomplishments and race records of the entire Olascoaga family and their horses is lengthy. They hold many World Championships medals, National Raid speed records and wins.  Their horses have won in almost every continent.  Their naturally raised horses began on the Olascoaga family stud in Zapican, the northern part of Uruguay. Pio Olascoaga Silveira and his son Pio Juan Miguel Olascoaga live and breathe every aspect of Pio Endurance International. Because of their incredible knowledge and love of horses the horse always comes first.
