The winner of the President's Cup 2012 was SH Hazza Bin Sultan Al Nahyan with the horse Gelnmorgan.
VENDAVAL(URU), the World Junior Endurance champion 2011, now owned by the Al Wathba Stables was the highest Uruguayan ranked horse in the President Cup at the position nr 11 to approx. 20 minutes behind the winner.

In the prestigious race Sh. Mohammed 160km Cup regulated by the FEI the winner horse was Nad Al Sheba with Abdulla Ghanim Al Merri. Second place went to the Argentine horse PICAFLOR WM with Ahmed Abdulla Al Hazza of Barehin.
In 6th and 7th place came fom LAS BRUAJAS ENDURANCE horses IFO DON PABLITO and and IFO EL PABLITO.

Also, the top 20, 6 horses were Uruguayans, the after mentioned and HALIM at Number 12, VENDETTA at number 14, DON OSCAR at number 16, 0KM ranked 20.

The Uruguayan horse PINTAKA(Bay,Gelding,2000,Cross Raid) won today's 90km CEI * Lady race which took place at Emirates. The rider Ana Lia Mendez, from Argentina, took to the podium to PINTAKA.
We are glad for this result because it was Pio Olascoaga Silveira who saw him competing in the traditional Uruguayan Raid and recommended this horse in June 2008. From that time PINTAKA start to train in LA UNION (AL AASFA Endurance Training Center in Uruguay) at that time Managed by Pio Olascoaga Silveira.

While some horses are just arriving at the desert, others are spending their second season there. One of these is HM ABU BABA, this horse has been training with ABDULLA AL SHAIK from the last season to now.
This time, HM ABU BABA´s rider was Sebastian Avila. He was part of our team, which went to work with Abdulla with a group of people formed, basically, by Argentinean and Uruguayan riders.
This Uruguayan couple achieved the 18th position within 230 couples that rode 80km in the competition MAJID BIN MOHAMMED ENDURANCE CUP; this took place in Dubai.
What is more, many more south American horses classified, most of them are related to us. Either were these trained by Pio Olascoaga Silveria at La Union (AL AASFA´s stable in Uruguay) or, were they recommended by Pio Olascoaga Amaya to some teams.
