The book not only includes photos, contains information relevant to all equestrian sector interested in, history of raid, horse breeds and extensive information of important stud farms of the Country, plus information about Uruguay.

The endurance season start in the United Arab Emirates. This runs from November 2 to March 23, 2013, which consists of more than 20 races that will be played between Bou Thib, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Uruguayan horses once again leave "La Celeste" to the top in the desert. In the first CEI 120km** race held in Dubai on November 15, won the Uruguayan mare SM ANGELICA (AMMOH) that came along with BARAKA IBN BURSHA .Sixth qualified TRESOR HAB classify and KEA FOUR at No. 20. |

As in 2005 and 2011, the Uruguayan team win's the Pan Amierican Championship in Horse endurance race.
Uruguay, the best team in America once again, besides getting the binomials individual gold and silver medals also took the award of Best Condition (Faraona del Alma) and team gold medals in both categories.

El jinete de Raid y Endurance Pio Olascoaga Amaya representara a Uruguay en el Mundial que se realizara en Euston Park, Reino Unido. La carrera de 160km se llevara a cabo el día 25 de Agosto.
Pio estará viajando con su equipo el día 13 de Agosto, formando parte de la selección uruguaya dirigida por el cuerpo técnico integrado por el Jefe de equipo el Dr. Cyro Pereira, El Sr. Gabriel Mendez como director técnico y el Dr. José Verocay, Veterinario.

DUBAI (Reuters) - When an economic crisis in Uruguay strained the finances of Pio Olascoaga Amaya's family farm, he found salvation halfway across the world: the horse racing industry of Dubai.
Olascoaga took one of his horses from Uruguay to try his luck in an endurance race in Spain. After the horse finished third, he was able to sell it to a trainer working for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Dubai's ruler and an avid sponsor, owner and rider of horses.

VENDAVAL(URU), the World Junior Endurance champion 2011, now owned by the Al Wathba Stables was the highest Uruguayan ranked horse in the President Cup at the position nr 11 to approx. 20 minutes behind the winner.

In the prestigious race Sh. Mohammed 160km Cup regulated by the FEI the winner horse was Nad Al Sheba with Abdulla Ghanim Al Merri. Second place went to the Argentine horse PICAFLOR WM with Ahmed Abdulla Al Hazza of Barehin.
In 6th and 7th place came fom LAS BRUAJAS ENDURANCE horses IFO DON PABLITO and and IFO EL PABLITO.
